Yacht Club - Port Isabel, TX



Originally named The Pearl of Isabel, the Spanish colonial, renaissance building now known as the Port Isabel Yacht Club was built in 1926. Having been born in the middle of prohibition the Yacht Club quickly became one of the more popular speakeasies of South Padre, even attracting the likes of Al Capone. After changing hands over the decades The Yacht Club was finally demolished in 2018.
